We are excited to inform our members that NAPWHA will be leading with the principles of the Meaningful Involvement of People with HIV (MIPA) in the development and implementation of a National Congress of PLHIV.

This Body Positive Congress will be held this year in September in Melbourne and presents a unique opportunity and aims to focus on the Art of Flourishing and living well with HIV. It will be the first congress of its kind, and will bring PLHIV across the country together in the same place to exchange views and ideas to advance the wellbeing of PLHIV in Australia.

In line with MIPA principals, NAPWHA are looking for an additional 7 engaging and inspiring PLHIV who represent the diverse population of PLHIV across Australia and who are willing to commit to participating in the advisory group for its duration, and we wish to help spread the word.

The role of the advisory group will be to provide advice on the format, content, topics, speaker selection and attendance of this gathering of PLHIV in Australia.
